  • Preparing to Make It in The Land of Plenty

    in Religion

Join us each Saturday 9:30 a.m. EST for an episode of Preparing to Make it in the Land of Plenty with Imam Delacie Ummah Phillips and guests for a practical discussion on what it takes at the individual, family and community level to truly be prosperous in America. How do we build a good life while enjoying liberty and the pursuit of true happiness. There's an increasing divide between the haves and have nots and between those capable of pursuing the American Dream with vigor and those becoming ever more disheartened by poverty, poor health care, under education, less job opportunities or access to capital, and unfair application of the rules of the game. Join Imam Delacie as he asks the group intellect to put their hearts, minds and hands together to work for real and lasting change.

  • Amazen Grace Ministries – We are Destroying the Yokes of Bondage!

    in Spirituality

Come and Hear what the Word is saying to the Church! The theme for the Month of July is “My Hope is in the Lord!”  The lesson for this last Saturday in July is “Hope shows Love and not hate - Loss Lips Sink Ships!
Developing a Mind forced on the will of God and conforming to God’s way of thinking. Therefore, I’m exercising my Will, my Perceptions and my Views to be Christ-Centered. I may live in this World but I’m Heaven bound.
    The Text for the Lesson:
James 3:1-12 New Living Translation (NLT)
    Controlling the Tongue
3 Dear brothers and sisters,[a] not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
3 We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. 4 And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong. 5 In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches.
