Close Up Radio Spotlights Evidential Medium Melitta Thorn

Huntsville, AL – Melitta Thorn is an evidential medium, who also practices other spiritual modalities such as trance speaking and trance healing, and tarot reading. Melitta refers to her clients as sitters.
According to Melitta, “an evidential medium is a messenger between both worlds – our world and the spirit world. The evidence is what people can unmistakably recognize that it’s their loved one. They bring specific pieces of evidence. This includes mannerisms, likes and dislikes, how they dressed, what they looked like, where they lived and other pieces of proof.”
In trance speaking and trance healing, a spirit guide named Star Bright, speaks through Melitta. “I am just a vessel,” elaborates Melitta. “Healing can take place on the emotional level, physical level, mental level, or spiritual level.” Trance is different from hypnosis in their approach but both are altered states of consciousness.
Melitta also does tarot card reading. What makes Melitta different is that she feels that the future is not always set in stone because people have free will and can make decisions with an infinite number of possible trajectories and outcomes.
In the near future, Melitta plans to host more workshops where she plans on teaching how to awaken psychic abilities and spiritual awareness. “It’s not a gift, but an ability,” declares Melitta. I let spirit guide me to serve to the best of my ability to help people with their innate talents.”

Get Ready For a New Experience of Jesus - Jesus Before Christianity

This week we will feature two very special guests on The Cosmic Citizen, Gabriel Rymberg and Lisa Crawford from The Center for Unity (CFU).
Gabriel and Lisa are two of the primary people involved CFU, a non-profit organization based in Israel, comprised of dedicated Urantia Book students, and supported by a vibrant community of volunteers. It draws its inspiration from a powerful quote: "The religion of Jesus is the most powerful unifying influence the world has ever known." The Urantia Book, 194:3.17.
Those who serve CFU are united by a shared mission: to foster each person's relationship with God through the teachings of Jesus.
People can feel disconnected from institutional religions, but CFU's projects present the life and teachings of Jesus in a context that makes sense and goes beyond religions of tradition and authority providing a modern and relevant way to explore and understand the teachings of Jesus.
Gabriel and Lisa will expound on the soon to launch DiscoverJesus web app (a modern presentation of Jesus before Christianity as revealed in The Urantia Book) and also the new Jesus Chat (a powerful new Jesus AI that allows one to get questions answered from the Jesus of The Urantia Book).
Gabriel is the visionary behind CFU and was the lead translator of The Urantia Book into Hebrew. For Gabriel, CFU has been a process of dynamic discovery. He is the fearless and capable leader of this wonderful effort. He lives in Israel with his wife Sandra, also a long-time UB student and co-founder of CFU.
Lisa has a 25-year career in diverse nonprofit environments, spanning communication, education, and development. Her dedication to continuous learning and personal growth lead her to The Urantia Book and service in wonderful Urantian endeavors. She serves CFU in various ways and on its Executive Team.
