Join The Captain Tonight @ 8pm EST (7/C) with his very special guest, Shanley Devlin
April 27th, 2011 will go down infamy . . . Most for the loss of family, friends and property after a spate of tornadoes destroyed several counties in Alabama.
But, for Shanley, her day of infamy came just months after finding out she became pregnant during the tornado outbreak.
Shanley was just 14 at the time. Her parents were never charged with neglect or abuse, but rather, Shanley was removed from her parents for what DHR called lack of supervision and allowing their daughter to get pregnant while family and friends hunkered down in the Devlin's home during the outbreak.
Shanley, now 20, is still considered by Alabama DHR as a foster child. Even though she has an apartment, a job, pays all her bills and even graduated High-School on time.
She is not allowed to have any contact with her parents and only see's her child on the weekends.
This story only gets worse from here.
So tune in tonight, 8pm EST (7/C) and hear the complete story.
