Over 2 years ago, Mr. Stubbs and his then wife, Suzanne, adopted 2 teenage boys from Ukraine. Their mother could not afford to raise them any longer and their father was nowhere to be found.
Shortly after the adoption, Mr. and Mrs. Stubbs divorced.
Mr. Stubbs filed for full custody of the boys. Suzanne who was awarded visitation rights claimed that the boys did not bond with her.
Without hearing any testimony from the boys, the judge, dan fairly ordered the boys to then live with Suzanne. When the boys respectfully declined, they were sent to jail in hand and leg cuffs and charged with contempt of court.
The best interest of the children was not in play and the 2 boys were used as bargaining chips to satisfy the courts ego.
