EP #83 STEP INTO THE LIGHT with PATTI SHENE

Every writer has a motivation for honing and perfecting the craft, ranging from financial gain to a passion for reaching others with a message conveyed through the written word. Christian writers often feel a tug at the heart that can’t be ignored to spread the word of Jesus Christ, whether it be in an overt manner through inspirational work such as devotionals and articles in Christian magazines, or with a subtler theme expressed in fictional settings.

Alexis Goring has perfected her writing skills as proven by the appearance of her work in numerous newspapers and magazines, on blogs, and as an author of three novels. She hopes that her stories will touch hearts, bring smiles to faces, and inspire minds to seek God whose love for humanity is unfailing. Alexis enjoys other creative expressions such as music, movies, and photography.

Her passion for the Arts and Entertainment industry led her to pursue a course of study in Print Journalism from Washington Adventist University in Maryland and she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. Her latest novel, Love in Pictures, released in June of this year.
