S05/E44: "Tinker, Taylor, Liar, Spies."

The US Congress is made up of citizens from varying backgrounds and unique stories. This one is no different. However, it can be argued, that this is the most "do nothing" Congress in the history of American politics. What they do legislate goes against everything America stands for. Does the majority really have their constituents and America at heart, do they serve only the interests of corporations who line their pockets with Super PAC donation cash? 

Do politicians still represent "We the People" or just care about the donor class? Should there be an age limit for Congresspeople and US Senators? Should that revolving door be sealed shut where, when a politician leaves office, the special interest sets them up with a high paying job with benefits for life? Should the Supreme Court of the United States be expanded from 9 to 15 seats? Should the 2nd Amendment be repealed or updated? We have a broken US Congress. So broken that Republicans refuse to work with Democrats in compromise. What would you do if you were elected to such an august body? Our Democracy is hanging on by a thread. Can we ever go back to some normalcy you think?
