You may have started off this year with a heartfelt desire to read the word of God all the way through. Day 1, you set aside the time, picked up your word, and started reading Psalm 117 and considered yourself accomplished.

Day 3, you'd already put it aside and gone about your life.

There are many reasons why people, both believers and unbelievers, don't read the word of God. For believers especially, it shouldn't be the case, and yet, it is. What are some of the reasons why people don't read it? What about the parts we don't understand? We want to be obedient, but our attention span is short.

What can we do?

Enter Myra Kahn Adams, author of the popular, ongoing, weekly Sunday Bible study on Townhall.com. These bible studies reflect her unique faith journey — Jewish by birth encompassing Messianic Judaism, mainline Protestantism, Evangelical Christianity, and Catholicism has been compiled into a book requested by Townhall readers.

Listen in as we chat about her faith journey, why aren't people reading the Bible, getting into the word of God, and so much more by dialing 646-668-8485 on Saturday, January 28th at 2 pm Eastern time.
