A Long Story to be told on new album Vocalist-Keyboardist-Producer Wade C. Long

Vocalist-Keyboardist-Producer Wade C. Long has been musically inclined to as long as he can remember. Raised in a family with diverse tastes in sound, he first began to write and produce music for himself and other artists throughout his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Later making the move to the big city, Wade C. Long found himself in Los Angeles releasing his debut EP Love Is, in 2014. Continuing to record, Wade finally released his first LP in 2020. The timely release of Nostalgia gave listeners an upbeat outlet from a year that was left grief-stricken by a worldwide pandemic and social unrest. Wade was rewarded by seeing his music reach several Smooth Jazz and Soul accolades, the highlight being voted a finalist for Soultracks.com’s Reader’s Choice Award for New Artist of the Year. In 2021 Wade graced us with Longitude Part One: Keys Please, followed by a UK hit, the Nigel Lowis remix of Right Moves. Then he spent most of 2022 working on his new album, A Long Story. This new LP is said to be danceable and emotional, with a few jams for lovers, as well. It features collaborations with the iconic Hil St. Soul and Billboard Smooth Jazz chart-topper Christian de Mesones. Yadaloo Music & Arts Festival: @yadaloofest "River N' Me," the latest single from Arkansas Americana group Ten Penny Gypsy, is an infectious, acoustic skiffle that enthusiastically pays homage to the classic American Roots music of the early 20th century. Recorded as a studio outtake from the group's "Fugitive Heart" sessions, the song has become a fan favorite, and is a staple of Ten Penny Gypsy's live concert performances.
The vintage video for "River N' Me" is beautifully set on the banks of the Arkansas River near Little Rock. It's presentation in black and white, complete with phonograph scratches and a reel-to-reel flicker, uniquely captures the joy and innocence of a bygone era. Ten Penny Gypsy are Justin Patterson, Laura Lynn Danley, and Buddy Case. Since forming in 2017, the group has been nominated for seven Arkansas CMA awards, and Buddy Case was named Guitar Player of the Year at the 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards.
