.  Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray .. each session we will examine the scriptural parallels in our journey to that of sheep .

David’s life had been challenged of ever side his father rejected him his king pursued him to kill him he had to live in a cave he had no home only a promise he was betrayed by his son wounded by his wife misunderstood, persecuted……… David  himself a shepherd   identified with the sheep who were  in need of a Shephard he realized his complete helplessness.  His  need for endless attention, constant companionship, reassurance and protection. Someone to manage his way who had knowledge of the way  best to strengthen and  nourish him it would require  meticulous painstaking care done out of love and with a deep lasting commitment.
