Learning To Control Our Passions

Fridays is "Double Header Day" on Following The Truth!  In this episode , Catholic lay evangelist Gary Zimak will read and discuss the Mass readings for the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time. These readings remind us that many times our proclamation of the "Good News" will be rejected.  Jesus experienced the same reaction and, in Sunday's gospel, prepares His Apostles (and us) what to do when it happens!   In the first half of the show, Gary will look at "The Hidden Power of Kindness", a great book by the late Father Lawrence Lovasik.  We'll learn the importance of controlling our senses and passions.  Lots of information will be coming your way in these 60 minutes, so be sure to listen in!
