Janie L. Hendrix is President/CEO of Experience Hendrix L.L.C., Authentic Hendrix LLC and JMH Productions, the Seattle based, family owned and operated companies dedicated to preserving the musical legacy of her brother Jimi Hendrix. Formed in 1995 by James 'Al' Hendrix, Jimi's father, Experience Hendrix and its affiliates oversee the daily operations of the Hendrix legacy on a worldwide basis.

Ms. Hendrix also serves as President of the Jimi Hendrix Park Foundation.  The vision of the Foundation is to create a gathering place for individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages to celebrate cultural heritage, experience community pride, and enjoy innovative educational programming. The park, named in honor of Jimi, is located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Central District.

Through her leadership of these companies, Ms. Hendrix is living out her lifelong dream as well as her father’s vision to see the musical legacy of her brother Jimi Hendrix, preserved, promoted and protected.
