Come and listen while Host Candace Gish interviews a variety of committed women weekly, whom are working to make the world a better place!  #DivasThatCare

Melissa Smith is 17 years old and in grade 12. At the end of her grade 10 year she was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in her right leg, which is an aggressive bone cancer. She faced many complications and delays throughout her treatment, but is grateful she was able to keep her leg and is currently in remission. Despite her difficult year, Melissa continues to remain optimistic and to strive to bless the lives of others. Her current project is to organize groups of people to volunteer and provide meals at Ronald McDonald Houses. She chose this opportunity because she had to live in Ronald McDonald Houses for about 3 months during her treatment and she is so grateful for the home cooked meals that were provided during such a difficult time. After graduation, Melissa plans to attend the University of Alberta and take Elementary Education.
