Danika Gordon is sixteen years old and has authored three children's books. She wrote her first book at the age of 12 via an online website to share a message of how kind actions make each of us a super hero. Two additional books that help kids recognize their abilities to make the world a better place followed. Danika was prompted to become an author because of her own experiences of being bullied. For her efforts she has been recognized as a Prudential Spirit of Community Honoree in her home state of South Dakota. She lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota with her parents and three siblings. Danika is also involved in 4-H, FFA, Student Council and Journalism Club.
