Keynote speaker, small business owner, International Best Selling Author and equestrian Brenda Hammon kicks down the walls of silence about incest and sexual, mental and physical abuse.   Brenda is a catalyst for finding ‘Your’ happy and ‘What If’ Expert. She is the CEO and founder of There is Happiness After (www.thereishappinessafter.com) and also Spirit Creek Publishing (www.spiritcreekpublishing.com).
In denial of the ways abuse had permeated her life for forty years, Brenda suffered in silence and isolation, until finally taking a stand and dealing with her past. Known for her integrity, courage, and directness, Brenda now works to show others who have been abused that they too have a voice and can take back control of their lives. Brenda takes pride in breaking the cycle of abuse in her own family and speaking out loud to prevent the suffering of other children.
With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Brenda and her husband Bud have run their own successful business, as well as offering training to other independent advisors. Brenda is one of the top advisor’s for one of Canada’s leading Lifestyle Protection Companies and served on its National Advisory Board since its inception.
Also an award winning rider and trainer, Brenda has competed on the National Circuit in Dressage in Canada. With competing behind her, now Brenda simply focuses on enjoying and bonding with her horse Hughie.
Brenda makes her home with her husband Bud on their small farm outside of Alberta Beach, Alberta.
