Episode 199: Pop Culture Advent Calendar, Part 1--Followed by Frost

Like the little doors you open to count down the days until Christmas on your home Advent calendar, this season we've got a countdown of seasonal pop culture tidbits that help us to think about our faith in new ways.  So instead of little bits of chocolate or tiny toys to get each day, we're inviting you to join us this Advent for a series that will introduce you (or re-introduce you) to some pop culture of the season that has been important to each of the friends around the microphone.  And today as pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve gather around the microphone, we are introduced to Charlie N. Holmberg's fantasy/fairy-tale of a novel, "Followed by Frost," and we'll explore the importance of small acts of kindness in changing our hearts, how love gets through to us in ways that threats cannot, and maybe how the Gospel itself works like a fairy-tale in some ways.  So grab a warm mug of something, put your feet up for a bit, and open the first door on our Advent Calendar of Pop Culture delectables this season!
