James, the Ambitious Apostle

James, the brother of John the "one whom Jesus loved." James' mother came to Jesus and asked that her sons be given great places of honor and authority at Jesus' right and left hands. Jesus asked them, "Are ye able to drink the cup that I shall drink of and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?"

James replied, "We are."
