Renee’ Parker-Booker simply cannot hold her enthusiasm for teaching people how to grow food! But when it comes to the children you better watch out. She is Manager at the Historic Mableton Community Garden and works in partnership with a homeschool organization called The PolyGlots Academy.
Renee believes in telling the whole truth about the amount of work needed and dedication that is required of anyone who claims they want to be a gardener, including the children.
Their excitement and enthusiasm attracts people to the garden and the joy is spread throughout the community. Staff of The PolyGlots Academy Anjanette and Tracy will join us along with the children who have grown into business people owning 2 companies – Shawtie Sweets and an education extension of what they are learning – Urban AgriKids©.
