Becoming frustrated is an inevitable part of life. Frustration is the feeling of being upset or annoyed especially when one feel that they can not change or achieve something. One can also become frustrated when one feel that they are being ignored or alone. Frustration can be confused with being irritable or anger.
Join myself and others as we discuss the different types of frustration such as personal, conflicting, pressure or environmental. The frustration can be internal or external. Anyone can become frustrated including children. However it is important to develop skills to process frustration in a healthy way. Being in a constant state of frustration can lead to many problems in one's life. Frustration within relationships also appears to be increasing. The behaviors that ocur when one becomes frustrated can become problematic for the individual as well as for others. With all that is going on in this world we all need someone to talk to. Individuals are listening. There are individuals that care. Let's not internalize things. Venting can be healthy and anger is a valid emotion. I want to hear your thoughts live 8/30/21 at 12pm Pacific. To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914. Hosted by Jeanette Abney LMFT.
