The Righteous

As a child I would hear my elders talking about the righteous not being forsaken. I also heard about righteousness. However I truly never knew what it meant. Then just the other day while watching television as it related to politics I heard a man talking about the righteous. I then knew many individuals as well as myself had no idea of what it meant to be righteousness as well as who was considered the righteous.
