The Power Of Prayer

When an individual say that they are praying for you or that you are in their prayers what does that really mean? I have heard it be said that one must also pray for themself as God can also hear their prayers. Which brings me to the topic as it relates to the power of prayer. This power should not be underestimated however it is often misunderstood. Today a person told me that many individuals use prayer like a wish list. James 5:16-18 states ,"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." What happens when a woman pray? I have personally witnessed and have heard of mothers pray like crazy for their children or marriage. Social media is also flooded with information regarding prayer or individuals praying for the sick, or those going through. God most definiely listens to prayers, answer prayers, and moves in response to prayer.

This brings me to question how is your prayer life? Do you know how to pray. This is can be a struggle for both believers as well as non believers.
