With all that we have going on in the world today, why is sexuality such a big deal for the church today? It appears that there is still a conflict as it relates to same sex marriages, transgender individuals and the ordination of one that is openly gay. This issue has led to controversies to determine if books should be banned from stores, donations withheld from charities, as well as church memberships. It has alsosplit families as well as caused pastors to step down and forced members as well as individuals wanting to serve God to not feel comfortable in church.
As a Believer what can we do as it relates to this topic? While gathering information for the show I came across a statement that read, " The homosexuality issue is not about "them" but about you and about us." I found that statement to be very powerful.
