October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and with all of the information that is now available it is sad to say that Domestic Violence continues to be an epidemic. Domestic Violence can happen to anyone. It does not discriminate. Domestic Violence is often overlooked as the abuse is often excused or denied. And many continue to stay in abusive relationships for a number of reasons.

When most individuals think of domestic abuse they often focus on physical violence. But the abuse occurs whenever a person in an intimate relationship, or a family member tries to dominate or control the other person. The abuse can also result in death and cause other problems in ones life.

There are many signs that one may be in an abusive relationship. The most telling sign is the fear of ones partner. There may also be other physical signs. The abuse can be verbal, financial, sexual, emotional. spiritual, and physical. Several different tactics may beused to dominate and control another. It is also important to know that Domestic Violence effects men as well as women.

Join me and my special guest as we identify toxic and abusive relationships. The show is designed to educate, provide resources and put an end to violent relationships. Call and share your experience. Monday 10/30/17 live at 12pm Pacific.
