Please join Dave the Mystic on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 8pm MDT with guest Brian Holley. Brian has been writing non-fiction for over fifty years and, for a few years, worked as a freelance journalist for several leading computer magazines. He ran a communication skill training company with his wife for 12 years. Following that, he was an online course tutor for five FE colleges. Brian has been an active member of the Weobley & District Local History Society for 20 years and ten years as chairman. He was an active Quaker for 12 years, including three years as an elder. During this time, he facilitated workshops in England and Wales. He is now an active member of Herefordshire Interfaith Group, for whom he facilitates workshops and leads group discussions.
In 2009, Brian was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and his left kidney was removed. Since then, he has had various bits removed and, since 2015, has had metastatic cancer in my lungs. There are now tumours in his pancreas, and one was recently found in his humerus and removed.
Throughout this period, Brian has maintained symptom-free health largely through exercise, meditative practices and diet. He intensified his regimen in 2022 after a short period of chemotherapy from which he withdrew because of its detrimental effect on his overall wellbeing, He has had support from nutritionists, an acupuncturist and, currently, from a kinesiologist.
We’ll be discussing his book What My Doctors Didn't Tell Me About Cancer: What You Can Do to Support and Enhance Your Cancer Treatment

Imnaha, OR – When asked how she communicates with animals, Shirley Scott explains, “When I’m communicating with an animal, I really am open to the animal sending me pictures and feeling their emotions in my body. To understand what they’re saying, you have to really get out of your humanness. I always say dogs and animals cannot come into the human world; rather, we have to go into theirs. And that means without judgment, living in the present, and understanding where they’re coming from.
Animals know how we feel. “We have to remember that all animals can smell pheromones, which are hormones produced by our glands. At every mood change, humans put out a different smell. We’ve all heard about dogs that can smell cancer. Animals have this ability for survival; in the wild, they have to know what’s going on around them. Domesticated animals don’t lose this ability, so they know what’s going on often long before we even know. They know when we’re sick before we actually know because we smell different. Animals can also see auras and the energies around us—they’re good at seeing spirits. Many dog owners have noticed their pets looking just above the top of their heads instead of their eyes—these animals are looking at auras. Between pheromones and auras, animals ’awareness of what’s going on is really heightened compared to humans,” explains Shirley.
