Alma Collins Thomas.  mother of two children. Tysean who died in 2009 and Sabria..I am a  Minister, Author,, Motivational Speaker, Consultant and Coach. I am the founder and Executive Director of  Alma Collins Thomas Ministries. For twenty-seven years I have worked at Amityville Head Start as a pre-school teacher. I am a Sulfolk County Girl Scout leader. I volunteer at UNAYO youth Center. I attend the Church of Jesus Christ Our Lord where I presently serve as the youth director and special events planner. My two passions are working with the youth and empowering women. My favorite topic is purpose and helping people to find out why they are on this earth and living the life that God meant for us to live. My favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 and my favorite quote is I don't feel no ways tired I have come too far from where I started from, despite all of the obstacles that I have had to face in my life, I am still standing and I don't look like the hell I have been through.
