Elder Dr. Joseph Lathan is the Co- Pastor of the Spiritual Israel Church; Its Army, Manhattan location. His educational background entails a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Empire State College, a Master’s in Education Administration from Michigan State University and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Lathan’s professional background includes 25+ years in Human Services, 16 years of service as an Ordained Minister and more than 15 years of work experience in Education Administration at the post-secondary collegiate level. He is the youngest of 10 children born to James and Ruthie Lathan, and happily married to Pamela Lathan for over 14 years and the father of three wonderful daughters and three beautiful grand daughters.

As an expert in the field of Workplace Spirituality/Workplace Chaplaincy, the completion of his doctorate study led to the creation of a new cutting-edge business,Workplace Chaplain Services, LLC.
