Pt 1 Can we loose our spiritual foundation through time?

Wild Bill has mentioned how that his Fortune business has brought him closer to his walk with God.  Well, we are at that silly time again were people are trying to tell others which political party has the mind of God.  Tonight we are going to use the history of politics to establish our point.  I think it was Ronald Regan that said we could loose our freedoms in one generation.  So Wild Bill thought he would have some fun and entertain you while sharing actual speeches from our nations Presidents starting with William McKinley in 1896, followed by Calvin Coolidge, Theodore Roosevelt, followed by FDR, going into Bill Clinton while President, then we will follow this with George W. Bush.  This will be followed by a Clinton speech made in 2006 when asked how we went from a great economy to the current situation.  We will hear a little from our current President.  One of these speeches will include when he said we are no longer a Christian Nation several years ago while representing the state of Illinois.  This will be followed by a news cast on the current election regarding politics and religion.  One of the guest is an atheist and the other is not.  I ask that you take note to the tone of these political leaders and the content over time.  If you study history you know these things but it is just that...history.  The church has changed with the times also.  Here we are going to the source of the leaders of their time.  In faith issues we have the Bible as a direct source.  Next week we are going to take this topic to a spiritual level.  So have fun tonight and next week buckle your seat belts as we take you down memory lane and what the Bible says about this.  As always we look forward to hearing your comments at the end of the show.
