John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. 18 He that believeth on him, is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John14: 15-18

If ye love me, keep my commandments, 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforter, to remain with you for ever, 17 Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him. But ye know him, for he remaineth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you orphans: I come to you.
