I Will Contend arrives at part 151 which ends chapter forty-nine. We have come a long way in Isaiah's book. Yet the truths of Judah's captivity, the reasons for it, and eventual deliverance of Judah from that judgment brings with it pertinent lessons. The foremost of which is that Judgment, trials, tribulation are very redemption in their purpose. God removes the problem that causes the nation to sin. But he makes a way for restoration in the process and eventual deliverance.

I Will Contend brings the #justice of the Lord to bear as the mighty hand of #judgment finds Babylon. Babylon was a mighty power and fed on its prey. As the #Lord delivers Judah from the power and hand of #Babylon, he also frees other nations and captives who were subjected to Babylon's might and power. The brings forth the truth by saying he would contend with those who come after Judah, and He would save "thy Children". He would feed them that oppress Judah with their own flesh."  "They would be drunken with their blood, as with sweet wine."
