Michele Zirkle Marcum will be discussing her book “Rain No Evil” and the paranormal activity that occurred in her family home while Marcum served as a teacher in Mason County, West Virginia, home of the Mothman. "Rain No Evil” is based on true events from Michele Zirkle Marcum’s personal past. Marcum says that she has changed some names, places, and other personal details out of respect for those involved, but that “the essence of the story is 100% intact, and it all occurred right there.” After what Marcum describes as “demons” infiltrated her life, Michele needed more protection than her police officer husband could provide. Those demons invaded the interior of her home, popped up in mirrors, and left her home soaked in water literally “raining inside” without any trace of the cause. It took a lady with divine light to finally conquer the evil presence that attached itself to Marcum, bringing the “scary, sexy, scandalous” chapter of her life to a close.

Marcum’s novel has been described by Bram Stoker award winning “Return of the Mothman” author Michael Knost as “wickedly funny, yet profoundly sincere and thought provoking.”
