I may be a "Flaming Hollywood Liberal," but that has never kept me from admiring the talent and passion of my friend Lowell Cauffiel who seldom agrees with me on the superficial (politics) but we agree on the deeper moral/ethical imperatives. His "House of Secrets" is a disturbing look at the life of Eddie Lee Sexton, who convinced his daughter to suffocate her infant, had his son kill the baby's father, and committed other heinous crimes, such as physical and sexual abuse, extortion, incest, and more, and examines his wife's role in the insanity. Lowell turned away from true crime after his book, and when you hear him in this interview, you will understand why he has turned his talents elsewhere.
