The Oracle of Khemsa Nu, is a fantasy set in a future age. From childhood Yao has been motivated by a desire to understand the nature of reality. He remembers very vivid dreams. In youth he sometimes served as the storyteller at neighborhood gatherings, his stories of ghosts and supernatural events drawing both children and adults into the audience. As an adult he begin to pen his stories, then mainly science fiction and romance. His writing style attempts to fully capture the reader in the settings, actions and emotions of the characters.
Yao strives to touch a chord of affinity in readers by creating characters with depth and through building complex worlds that have all the trappings of reality. In combining intriguing worlds, indigenous themes and romantic tales of tantric love he has earned the title – Urban Sci-Fi Pioneer.
