TOXIC along With Music Millionaires Club SG-1,Talks about Behind The Scene in the music world. When hip-hop heads talk about the top producers from Chicago, one producer proves why he is part of the elite. His name is Toxic and he crafts banging tracks for Twista, Speedknot Mobstaz, Do or Die, Lil’ Kim, Faith Evans, Keyshia Cole, T-Pain, Too Short, etc. The list of artists continues to expand and drop jaws. “ I capture the moment to make the hottest stuff possible,” says Toxic, and from the look of his impressive catalogue he is a man of his word. Toxic embraced hip-hop listening to artists like LL Cool J, Eric B and Rakim, and N.W.A. Battle rapping would become his creative outlet at the age of fourteen: during that time he met his friend and long time collaborator Twista. I In 1994, he joined up with the group Illstate Assassins, and from that experience his group Three in the Chamber, was established. It was then he made the transition from rapper to producer having cut his first tracks with Three in the Chamber under the guidance of DJ Riot One & Chain Saw. From that moment on he became addicted to the rush of having artists perform on his tracks, “I did my first beat and got a response from it… being in a studio, working on a beat from beginning to end, and seeing somebody put something down on it is really when I got the juice for it,” remembers Toxic. Afterward, Tic would begin engineering and working with Twista on his albums. That collaboration experience would be profoundly instrumental in the development of Toxic’s sound, he notes, “Twista was the final ingredient to the batch… He gave me the full spectrum of everything. Twista brings the best out of me on the music side.”
