Off to the Races Radio: July 23

Off to the Races Radio powered by The Racing Biz returned Saturday, July 23 with an action-packed one hour program.

This week's show featured visits from trainer T. J. Aguirre and owner T. K. Kuegler. Aguirre trains Chambeau, a five-year-old mare who made her much-delayed first career start a winning one at Colonial Downs when she won the Tyson Gilpin Stakes July 11.

Kuegler is the principal behind Wasabi Ventures Stable. He’ll be watching the action at Monmouth Park closely, when Benevengo, a horse his group claimed for $25,000 four starts back, faces the starter in the Grade 1, $1 million Haskell Stakes against such stalwarts as Jack Christopher and Taiba.

Also on the docket are Darrell Wood, talking about all things Virginia, and legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson.
