Off to the Races Radio: June 18, 2022

Off to the Races Radio returns June 18 with an exciting show focusing on Thoroughbred racing around the Mid-Atlantic and across the country.

Saturday’s show features visits from Alan Foreman and Jill Byrne. Foreman, the general counsel for the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, will join us to explain the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s role and implementation as the July 1 deadline for registration with the Authority nears.

Byrne, head of racing at Colonial Downs, will update us on preparations for that meet. Colonial kicks off its nine-week 2022 meeting July 11.

Also on the docket are Darrell Wood, talking about all things Virginia, and legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson.
