Saturday's racing action features four graded stakes at Aqueduct, the first Saturday of the Oaklawn Park meet, Claiming Crown day at Gulfstream Park, and much more, and our Off to the Races team will take a swing at handicapping the biggest events.
Off to the Races will air Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday's Aqueduct action is especially intriguing, featuring four graded events, topped by the Grade 1 Cigar Mile. Americanrevolution, four-for-five this year, is the morning line favorite in the race named for the great Maryland-bred; trained by Todd Pletcher, he's 5-2 and will have Luis Saez in the irons.
The card also features the Grade 2 Remsen for two-year-olds and Grade 2 Demoiselle for two-year-old fillies, as well as the Grade 3 Go for Wand for older fillies and mares. Pletcher could have a big day; he'll send out the morning line favorite in the two two-year-old stakes as well as the Cigar Mile.
Also on tap: a triple Pick 6 carryover of $729,611. The Pick 6 is a one-dollar wager. Plus, we'll have latest racing news and more.
