TheDavidBowersAwards presents the Tom Tikka Album Preview Special

Tom Tikka is a previous TDBA winner and joins us to preview his brand new album "Rainbows and Dead Flowers."  Despite the seemingly paradoxical title, the album chronicles various stages of life and relationships with songs that run the gamut from infatuation to desertion and aftermath.  Along the way, he shares the sadness that the thing that could be our greatest resource can turn out to be the greatest source of pain.  TUNEDLOUD calls him "genius" 

In this preview, Tom shares the meaning of the title song as well as snippets of the emotions behind several of the songs from this powerful and genre-spanning collection of his songs .... you hear rock, pop, alternative ... even world and ethnic influences.   He also shares some of the writing, producing and presentation motivations which led him to produce this collection of very personal musical emotions.  Before it's finished, you'll want to hear the entire album!
