Leigh Thomas, singer/songwriter/guitarist from Melbourne, Australia, returns to TheDavidBowersAwards to debut his newest album, 'The Long Way.'  Leigh talks about the songs on the album and his vision for creating his first album after many years in the business producing mostly singles.  

Leigh's music is primarily pop-rock, although it crosses many genres including r&b, ballad and even country-rock.  He prides himself on constantly trying new things and experimenting with new styles as well as utilizing his complete 'tool box' of vocal talents.  On 'The Long Way,' he gives us a sample of his range of voice as well as styles, shifting smoothly and effortlessly from straight pop-rock to power-pop to even a touch of outlaw-country!  And, he does this without losing the originality and listenability that are hallmarks of his style.  This is a truly listenable album .... one that you'll want to listen to repeatedly.
