TheDavidBowersAward with Grant Maloy Smith and Shane Wooten

This week TheDavidBowersAwards is a little bit country .. BUT, we ROCK it!  Grant Maloy Smith visits us and shares music from his best selling Americana 'Dust Bowl' album, one of the biggest Americana albums in recent years.  Grant has been called a contemporary Woody Guthrie and, while his style reflects a bit more country than folk, his lyrics are pure Americana.  We also give you a sneak preview of a new track of his coming later this year.  Shane Wooten is a purveyor of modern country but, firmly entrenched in 'real' country.  Whether it's rocking a Saturday night as a 'Mudslinger' partying with his buddies or "Running With A Redneck Crowd" like The Bellamy Brothers who join him on the tune.  We've even got something for the kids with the sound of the Kidz Rock Kids!
