This week on TheDavidBowersAwards we have a show with some history as well as some great new indie music. First we're proud to talk with Ed Kabotie of the exciting Native American band, Tha Yoties from Flagstaff, Arizona. Tha Yoties play a unique alternative rock, heavily tinged with reggae and 'seasoned' with some Americana and a little Jazz. In addition to their powerful "Freedom Song," Ed gives us the history of his Native people and their place in American history. And, returning after too long an absence, we're excited to welcome back Country star Celeste Kellogg, who we've had the pleasure of watching grow as an artist since her first appearance on the show 5 years ago. Today, Celeste is riding high with the Country/pop crossover hit, "Country Swagger" and talks about her growth as a singer, performer and songwriter. Plus we preview a new track from the band Snail Mail. Listen online on BlogTalkRadio Sunday at 2pm ET/11am Pacific/ 7pm GMT or ANYTIME on the BlogTalkRadio archives and be sure to re-post the link so that your friends can listen, too.
