Join me and my co-host, Jon BonJovial for my annual Native American Heritage Month show. We are honored to have two award-winning guests this week, a mult-awarded artist, Jan Michael Looking Wolf and the daughter of the 'first Native American rock star,' Beth Wray whose father was the legendary guitarist Link Wray. Jan Michael Looking Wolf is an artist/performer/educator/author and humanitarian who's flute music recordings have garnered over 52 awards including 5 NAMMYs! Jan is an enrolled Kalapuya member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, who resides within his indigenous homelands in Oregon. Beth Wray is carrying on the legacy of her famous father, a member of the Shawnee tribe, who is credited with the creation of the now-intergral 'fuzz guitar' sound of rock music as well as the 'power chord.' He has done music of many genres including pop, rock, country, blues but is best known for his signature classic hit, 'Rumble.' Link Wray is up for a long-overdue election to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Listen online Sunday at 2pm Eastern/11am Pacific/7pm GMT or anytime on BlogTalkRadio on-demand. And please re-post for your friends so they can listen, too.
