ICC NEWS SUMMARY

Moosa Stadium: USA’s newest ODI accredited Venue.  The USA will host Scotland and UAE from May 28 through June 4, and Then Nepal and Oman from June 8 to June 15 for 12 ODI matches, continuation of Cricket World Cup League 2 matches.  The stadium is in Pearland, 22 miles South of Houston Texas.  Other Recognized venues are Lauderhill, Florida and Morrisville, Carolina.

Tickets are now on sale, $10.00 adults, kids U-16 free with online purchase. 

ICC PLAYER of the Month, April 2022

MEN’s Nominees: Keshav Maharaj, figures of 7/32in South Africa’s rout of Bangladesh for 53.  He was named player of the match.  Simon Harmer, South Africa, a vital 38 not out, followed by 4 /53 and second innings 3/21. Jatinder Singh, Oman, Scored total runs of 259 with 3 fifty plus scores and a century.

WOMEN’s Nominees: Alyssa Healy, Australia, a sore of 170 runs from 138 balls with two important partnerships of 160 and 156.   Nat Sciver, England, Scored 148 in 121 balls.  The third highest in a world Cup final.  Janet Mbabazi, Uganda, Eleven wickets in 6 matches at average of 7.81, best figures of 4/12 and 118 runs at average of 29.5 best score of 42 not out against Zimbabwe.
