Alana Stewart is an actress, host, author and spokesperson. She began her career by leaving her home state of Texas and heading to New York City to become a Ford model. Soon, she began her acting career appearing on such popular television series as The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, The Bionic Woman, Hart to Hart, The Fall Guy, Masquerade and the mini-series Small Sacrifices and Lonesome Dove. In 2007, Alana began working with her dear friend, Farrah Fawcett on Farrah’s Story, a documentary of Farrah’s courageous struggle with cancer which Alana filmed and produced. In 2009, Farrah’s Story debuted on NBC to record-breaking viewers and was nominated for an Emmy Award as an Outstanding Nonfiction Special.
Alana also released her first book in 2009, the New York Times bestseller, My Journey With Farrah- A Story of Life, Love and Friendship. In her second book, Alana reveals her compelling personal story in Rearview Mirror: A Memoir (Published by Vanguard Press, September 2012). Alana serves as president of The Farrah Fawcett Foundation which funds cancer research and supports those fighting cancer. She stops by to chat about her foundation & her book memorializing her close friend, Farrah Fawcett.
