SID:Feliz Anivesario Pele'/DEUS Abencoa/O Rey/ The Greatest/TRUST*IN*GOD*

 Today we salute and say happy birthday,''Feliz Anniversario'', to Edson Arantes do Nascimento the greatest futebol player in both Brazilian and world history,soccer and living legend,Pele'. A few weeks ago I was told that that,''O Rei''had died. I called Brazil and did some research and thank GOD it was both not so and an erroneous story.
 Pele'turns 79 today.He was born on this date in Tres Coracoes,Brazil later his family moved to Santos,the rest is history. I was blessed to meet him on a few occassions and like Muhammad Ali a war was stopped to see him perform. In 1969 the king and his Santos team and teammates where in Africa,the people of the Nigerian state of Biafra were at war with each other yet for 2 days the fighting stopped so they could see the living legend and great Pele' play.He was the reason the 1970 World Cup games were first ever broadcast in color and live. 
 Below we list a horde of his legendary feats.A,Hat Trick,in World Cup play,12 goals scored in 14 World Cup games.Youngest player to ever score a goal in World Cup play.Only three(3)time winner of the World Cup,a 1,000 goal scorer and most goals ever scored in Futebol play.
 Was the reason soccer came to America and in 1977 led the New York Cosmos to the NASL championship.
 Hard to believe and yet not from a beloved mother's perspective but his lovely and devoted mother,Celeste who made him his first ever pair of long pants,NEVER saw him play live for fear of seeing her baby get hurt. Pele' was named after Thomas Edison a salute to the inventor and recognization of Pele's town finally getting electricity.
