Fight Back~
"When a person who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, they will either quit being mistaken or cease being honest".
~Richard Humpal, J.D.
There IS an abundance of mis-information, dis-information, obfuscation, and downright lying happening in environments that here-to-fore you would have thought would be immune to such things. We all know (blatant generalization) that religion is one of the biggies in this regard. Every religion has in it an endemic propensity for institutional arrogance, that takes the social form that states, "My religion is better than your religion", and "We have all the truth you need, and you don't".
But this is by not means the only construct that does this. We see scientific endeavor giving way to opinion over fact, as evident in the Covid-19 fiasco involving the vaccuums (intentional mis-spelling) that have caused more people harm then anything a virus should be able to do.
Our political leaders on both sides of the isle regularly lie through their teeth in telling us to not get too involved in what they are doing, as they say "There is nothing to see here, move along", in hopes that you will ingnore the theft and laundering of trillions of dollars into the coffers of their political cronies, while blaming all the ills of society 'on the other guy'.
The quote by Dr. Humpal goes right to the heart of the issue; Self Honesty is the most rare commodity in existance, and without it there is no standard from which we can gain any understanding of truth that is not controlled by our own emotions.
This is why we at Spirit of Truth Ministry have taken the onus of the viewing of truth awayt from individual activity, and acknowledge that Truth needs to be a standard into and unto itself, This is why we use the words that Jesus gave His own disciples as the standard from which all truth comes.
