Lord of the Dance Michael Flatley calls from his home in London to talk about the DVD release of Lord of the Dance 3D. Flatley, who made the Guiness Book of World Records for 35 taps in a second tells host Robin Milling that a reality show might be the next step for the Irish hoofer.
'I've been offered one recently and I'm working with some producers in Los Angeles about possibly doing something. They would like me to do a show about how I build my show and putting it on the road and I might take a look at that. To be honest I don't watch television and I haven't for years. It could be inspiring. Nobody could ever know the amount of hard work that goes into this from creating, financing, producing, directing, lighting, the sound and the logistics with the dancers' personalities, the egos, the problems and the successes. Even just choosing the lead dancer from the stars is very difficult for people to understnad how much hard work actually goes into it but it is interesting and I think people will like it.'
