Anna Barnes started her career in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Growing up in a small island community, she fought the southern stereotypes by bringing a indie soul vibe to all of her music. Influenced by artists like Etta James, Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, and Alicia Keys Anna's music infuses old school elements with a new wave R&B twist.
Moving to the vibrant city of New Orleans, Anna Barnes released her first single "Girls" November of 2018. Subsequently in 2019, she has collaborated with artists such as Grey Ziemba and Remington as well as up and coming producer Erick Bardales. Also, two singles "Sometimes" and her latest single "Just Saying" have been a prime example of her growth as an artist towards a more mature sound. Her most recent release "People" blending new sounds for the artist to create a dream like feel. She plans to release an EP late to showcase during a tour around the South East next year.
