Setoria latest single Say My Name debuted on December 9th and exploded as Setoria took her listeners on a soulful journey of melodic sounds with an added spice of Hip-Hop to remind us of her "around-the-way girl" personality. Her debut EP - Say my Name is scheduled for release early 2017. The well-rounded vocalist, songwriter and music activist cites Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Mahalia Jackson, Lauren Hill, Jill Scott, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, Millie Jackson, Miles Davis, Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Bon Jovi, Rick James and Chuck Brown as some of her biggest influences and inspirations. Her expressive lyrics are recognized more as pages to her diary as she share stories of her personal experiences, thoughts, dreams, and nightmares. In September of 2016, Setoria was nominated for R&B Soul Artist of the Year and Spell on Me was nominated for R&B Song of the Year at the 2016 Josie Music Awards.
