"There's an effortless cool about women like Lianne La Havas and St. Vincent that make them such perfect objects of our audio affection. Their brilliant musicality is only bolstered by the sense that they’ve got style and grace. Donn Thompson Morelli, known to audiences as Donn T, has got that too —and thank goodness. Less than you’d think, yet still too often, she’s promoted just as the sister of Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson of The Roots rather than as an artist in her own right. With an impending sophomore LP, Flight of The Donn T, on the horizon plus two releases that will precede it, Donn T is poised to get her proper introduction to the world beyond Philadelphia."—Bill Chenevert (Philadelphia Weekly)

Donn T added label owner to her list of accomplishments, when she launched D Tone Victorious in 2014. D Tone Victorious is distributed via MRI/ RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. When asked why she underwent the arduous task of starting her own label, Donn T simply says, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” On her upcoming Flight of The Donn T album, due April 21st 2015, she shares co- production credit with her new husband Jake Morelli, a guitarist/ producer whose performance credits include stints with Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, The Roots, Roberta Flack, Jennifer Hudson, Grace Potter, Esperanza Spalding, and Hunter Hayes. She and Morelli share additional writing credit with Mike McHenry (Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Madonna), Ray Angry (Christina Aguilera, Mark Ronson, Mick Jagger), DJ Danophonic and Steve McKie (Bilal).
