THE ORIGINAL LEAD VOCALIST OF THE MARY JANE GIRLS JOJO MCDUFFIE DEBUT HER NEW ALBUM

"SLIGHTLY DANGEROUS"

It’s been said never do anything to excess, so Slightly Dangerous is a fitting solo release title for the voice familiar to fans of old school funk and R&B, JoJo. Jojo is Joanne JoJo McDuffie the  lead vocalist for 80’s pop sensations “The Mary Jane Girls.” JoJo was the driving force behind indelible hits like: “All Night Long,” “In My House” and “Candyman.” Now, she’s taken her unmistakable vocal appeal and produced the album of the year for lovers of adult music.

Slightly Dangerous features JoJo’s breathtaking voice breathing new life to modern day standards like Sade’s “Is It a Crime,” Burt Bacharach’s “Look of Love” and Rogers and Hammerstein’s “My Favorite Things.” But it gets better as she pens six original cuts including the song “You” that has been used for the television show Criminal Minds and

various film soundtracks.

Slightly Dangerous took no chances to arrive at the perfect music mix by tapping the producing talents of gifted music prodigy Danny LeMelle. His deft production direction accentuates JoJo’s vocal virtuosity while producing a sound that hits all the right cords with listeners of all ages.

So when it comes to music that can more than slightly elevate the mood for love, nothing does it better than JoJo’s Slightly Dangerous
