The Importance Of Family

This week many individuals will be celebrating Thanksgiving with their family. There are others that may not be able to be with their family for whatever reason. There are also those that do not celebrate holidays. For myself, after the passing of my mother in 2008 the word family took on a different meaning. So my question to you is how do you define family? Many individuals are very familuar with the term Nuclear and Extended Family. Yet while preparing for the show I learned that we may be related by blood or marriage to an individual and spending quality time with them this week appears to be the norm. Others would say that loyalty is what makes an individual family. Family is very important for a number of reason. It is first known to be the single most important influence in a child's life. Family also is where many learned values, morals and bad habits.
